Who We Are

Learn about Region 8 and what we stand for.

Region 8 Mental Health Services is one of Mississippi’s leading behavioral health care providers. From life-changing consultations to state-of-the-art facilities to world-class behavioral health professionals, we specialize in providing personalized care plans that lead to healing and hope. Since opening our doors in 1975, we’ve invested in improving the health and well-being of people from all walks of life. We have remained true to our mission of providing the highest levels of care to those experiencing behavioral health issues and their families while creating a supportive environment that fosters compassion, understanding, and long-term positive outcomes.

Our Mission

Region 8 Mental Health Services will provide the highest level of behavioral health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and alcohol and drug services in the least-restrictive environment possible within the limits of current knowledge.

Our Vision

Our vision is to meet the unique behavioral healthcare needs of each individual in our community as expressed through an infinite effort of a team of professionals, with strength beyond the presence of any one person. Our success is measured by the accomplishments and comfort in the lives of those we serve.

“For nearly 50 years, we have set the standard for professional, personalized behavioral health care in central Mississippi. We are staffed and equipped to provide a variety of quality services in a safe, welcoming environment that promotes hope and healing.

We understand your needs, and we desire to be your home away from home. We are the best at what we do, and we are committed to caring for your behavioral health, intellectual and developmental, and substance abuse needs for now and for the long term.

If you or someone you love is in need of our services, please get in touch with us. We will work with you to design a personalized care plan and stay with you every step of the way on your specific journey.”
