Admission Requirements
To be admitted into Region 8’s intellectual development disabilities programs, applicants must:
Be at least 18 years of age and older
Complete an application/Intake through one of our mental health center locations
Be eligible for Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Certification based on a current evaluation by a licensed physician or psychologist unless enrolled in IDD Waiver/CSP program
Be residents of Copiah, Lincoln, Madison, Rankin, or Simpson counties. Most residents of Copiah County are served through either our Simpson or Lincoln County locations
