Since its beginning nearly five decades ago, Region 8’s Children and Youth Services Division has established a reputation as one of the most trusted names in helping young people overcome emotional and psychological challenges.
Acclaimed for its inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, Region 8 offers skilled care with an emphasis on helping participants learn new coping skills while regaining a sense of ideal functioning in their life. From anxiety disorders, depression and disruptive behavior disorders to affective (mood) disorders and eating disorders, Region 8 offers a wide range of outpatient evaluation, diagnostic and counseling for children and youth.
Our highly trained staff offer a variety of services that include:
Intake evaluation/assessment
Crisis assessments
Prescreening evaluations
Individual therapy
Family therapy
Group therapy
Day treatment for preschool and school-age children
Crisis intervention
After-hours telephone and mobile crisis intervention
Community support services
Psychiatric services, including psychiatric and medication evaluation
Alcohol and drug prevention and intervention
Treatment plan interview services
Intellectual and developmental disability services
Consultation and behavioral health education
All services are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Crisis services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Contact your local Region 8 office for more information.
