Since its beginning nearly five decades ago, Region 8’s Children and Youth Services Division has established a reputation as one of the most trusted names in helping young people overcome emotional and psychological challenges. 

Acclaimed for its inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, Region 8 offers skilled care with an emphasis on helping participants learn new coping skills while regaining a sense of ideal functioning in their life. From anxiety disorders, depression and disruptive behavior disorders to affective (mood) disorders and eating disorders, Region 8 offers a wide range of outpatient evaluation, diagnostic and counseling for children and youth.

Our highly trained staff offer a variety of services that include:

• Intake evaluation/assessment

• Crisis assessments

• Prescreening evaluations

• Individual therapy

• Family therapy

• Group therapy

• Day treatment for preschool and school-age children

• Crisis intervention

• After-hours telephone and mobile crisis intervention

• Community support services

• Psychiatric services, including psychiatric and medication evaluation

• Alcohol and drug prevention and intervention

• Treatment plan interview services

• Intellectual and developmental disability services

• Consultation and behavioral health education
