With people living longer than ever before, Region 8 knows that older people in good health continue to contribute to their families and communities. That is why we’re committed to extending health in older age through our Elderly Enhancement Program. Combining superior service with a unique team approach, we offer mental health services and a variety of structured activities to enhance the quality of life of older adults. This program addresses a person’s needs and unique challenges, leading to a caring and supportive atmosphere that fosters the highest functioning level and greatest degree of independence possible. Services include group therapy, individual therapy, family counseling, validation therapy and coping techniques as well as a variety of relational and comforting activities. Other services include pharmacy consultations and psychiatric consultations.
