Region 8’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) allows participants to engage in educational activities and individual, group and family treatment while continuing to meet their routine obligations. IOP can also be used as a step down from residential treatment to allow clients to maintain a strong focus on recovery while resuming the responsibilities of daily life. This service is available for both adults and adolescents.

This is a service design to be completed in the course of 10 weeks, in which clients can expect a minimum of 9hrs per week of group therapy plus a minimum of 1 hr of individual therapy per week. Attendance to other community meetings including AA or NA, etc. are strongly encouraged.
