Via partnerships with pharmaceutical companies to provide samples and administer indigent drug programs, Region 8’s Pharmacology Services team helps people with restricted income obtain needed and prescribed medication. We are especially proud of our efforts to prevent individual decompensation and non-compliance medication usage by improving medication use, safety and health outcomes for patients.

Region 8 believes in providing consumers with the best care possible in the least restrictive environment as supported by scientific evidence.  It has been proven that the best outcomes result from evidence-based therapies.  To achieve the best outcomes for our consumers, Region 8 has developed the therapy model of care, requiring all consumers to participate in therapy before they are referred to medical staff for medication assistance except in rare cases of true crisis.
