Prevocational Services

Region 8 offers training for residents aged 16 and older in areas necessary for independent vocational functioning. Participants experience realistic work environments while receiving pay based on their production. Additional training includes appropriate work behavior, grooming skills and other self-help skills necessary for a work setting.

We design individualized plans to keep participants functioning in their community while fostering greater independence in vocational skills. A current psychiatric evaluation is required for admittance.
